hi my son is 12 months old he is perfectly taking his food till a week before but now he suddenly stopped eating everything and he is vomiting if he sees the food.i tried all varities of food but in vain previously i used to give rice cereal for breakfast ,rice &dal for lunch,and rice cereal again for dinner and i tried gerber varities also but he is not taking.and previously he has the habit of lying on my legs and eat the food but from the last 2 months i gradually stopped and making him to eat the food roaming here and there but now he is not eating in that way and if i make him to lay on my legs and keep the food he is vomiting plz can anyone give me the suggestions what to feed him and how to feed him and he is not taking the wholemilk also .plz say me what the babies likes to eat and what should i give to my kid i will be thankful to them a lot. sonu replied. hi ,

i forgot to mention give him sweet potatoes, pumpkin,carrot,spinach,khichadi,dal rice n grind these n give him if he doesnt have teeth.

i think the way u r feeding him its wrong , lying n feeding its wrong as he is able to eat as a grown up.bcz as he lies down n eat it get chocked in neck n get out as soon as u feed him second spoon. u try make him sit in ur lap n feed him .try many things like start a music n feed him or show him his favourite toy n feed him he will definately eat.

try to give him all household food n give him gerber only when u go out.this way he will have habit of household food.

My so is 11 months old and he did the same thing a month ago. Are you mashing his food in the grinder/blender? If so try not mashing it while feeding him. Also try introducing the veggies indian style.. not the gerber food -- like tadka dal, boil vegetables and then add tadka and salt. may be he will eat.
-- also did he get any teeth ? or is he teething? check with your Doc..
