i have read the excellent advice you have been giving everybody. please give me any advice that you have about my condition.
i have been recently diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. i have always had very irregular periods and lately there have been 2-3 episodes where i did not have periods for 3 months. My dr. gave me progesterone and i immediately had a period. she then put me off to have blood tests done. i have not had a period without progesterone. i am going to my dr. again soon to see what she wants to do. i think she wants to put me back on progesterone. can you do that long term, even thro a pregnancy? she said that she was going to give me the natural progesterone and the lowest possible dose.
my fsh is low and my testosterone is high.
are there any suggestions on other stuff i need to know or i should do?

With PCOS and irregular cycle, you are not ovulating. If you trying to conceive then you need to talk to doctor and she will give clomid. Clomid works for most PCOS and sometimes if its severe it wont work. But you will be increased in dosage. Like if 50mg didnt work then you will be given 100mg. The only way to know by ourself whether it worked is to check using Ovulation kits and bd as soon as you get ur positive. Natural Progesterone can be taken during pregnancy. Dont worry of progesterone. First ask your doc to make you ovulate and follow her guidelines and let us know.

Testogesterone - Mostly High in PCOS. Thats one of characteristics of PCOS.
