Hi All,
I have a 6 month old baby girl. I was raeding on net that now they should start pushing up on their arms when doing the tummy time, but what is happening that she will do her arms totally flat and perpendicular to her body and her mouth will be down...what should I do? But she loves sitting...still needs support but she is OK with that position.
Another concern is about starting Indian style food ..means salt , turmeric in the food. Should I wait or start slowly the \";chawal and dal ka pani\";. And I read that I can grind and keep the DAALS so should I wash and dry them before grinding...as we always wash the daal before cooking. Plz tell me what you guys are doing or did?
Thanks.
Tanu.

i am a mom of 2 yr old boy. i started adding salt to his food only after he turned One. The reason, not to add salt/sugar to their food is they will develop sweet tooth(ie liking towards a particular taste)

You can start giving rice, dhal+turmeric once she completed 9 months.

I havent powdered it and kept...but will cook both rice and dhal and mash it (i was comfortable thisway)

all the best.

Love,
Jai

Hi Jay,
Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I was really worried but now I am feeling guilty as I gave her yesterday itself a very tiny pinch of salt in mashed potato. Well now I am going to wait for few more months.
Thanks once again.
