hello all...its good to find some site like this...i am in 32 weeks and scheduled for level II ultrasound next week,anybody has gone thru it? please share!!! I am also GD..and on insulin, i would really appreciate if i get any suggections regarding diet!!

I am Anju , and i am also GD and on insulin from a week , and i am 29weeks , i had this when i am 3and half months pregnent. I am taking carb chopper tortillas which are available in sams club for lunch and dinner . They are very stomuch filling and the readings are came normally madhumita replied. hi Suparna,
I am in 27th weeks & also GD. But I am not taking insulin as it was not needed (suggested by doctor).She advised me to have proper & restricted diet. regarding diet she suggested me to have protein rich diet i.e. sprouts, green vegetables, dal, wheat roti or bread (no maida), boiled egg, fish, curd. don't eat any deep fried food.the most important is to have frequent small meals don't restrict urself to breakfast, lunch & dinner only. don't eat banana, sitaphal, mango, grapes, chiku. well, rest I hope its better to take suggestions from ur doctor.
