Feeding:feeding non veg.

Hi All,
I have a daughter of almost 10 months old & now I want to give her non veg. I had earlier tried hard boiled egg yolk but she does not like it as she always makes expression of throwing it up as it is sticky & she could not swollow it. I need suggestions for how I can give her egg(in what form or to mix with)? Secodly how to introduce chicken in her diet? I did try those ready made baby food with chicken but with no success.
thanks in advance.

hi kavita,
are you in the united states? b'coz you talk of ready made baby food.
i didn't start non-veg till my baby was atleast 1 yr old. i started with gerber chicken noodles #2. the taste is better than the others as it has onion powder and tomatoes, etc. my daughter ate that well. then you can try to buyt th only chicken jars and make it to your child's taste with some indian spices.
you can give her th e ready to eat diced chicken found in the frozen section. they tatse very yummy and kids love to nibble on it.
home-made stuff......you can always get fresh chicken and boil it and put soem butter and salt on it.
my daughter also threw up when she ate egg but later we found out that she was allergic to eggs, so...!!!
let me know what happens, keepwriting.

Hi The nicemom,
First thanks for reply
Yeah, i stay in US.
I stoped non veg for a while & now for the last couple of weeks I have started giving her egg yolk again but not the boiled one. I add a spoon of milk in it & make an omlette with cheese in between. She is liking it but since she is still in process of adjusting to chunky(texture food), does not want to eat more.
I will follow your suggestion.
thanks again
Kavita
