Feeding:feeding schedule for 4 month old
2005-03-23
Name: Priya

Hi all,

My baby girl is 4 months old. She is breastfed exclusively. Nowadays she drinks less milk and gets distracted easily. My milk supply is more in the morning and less in the evening. But she drinks less in the daytime and more in the night esp around 11 PM when she goes to sleep. Please let me know if this is okay. Also I have tried taking her to a quiet place and feeding but she still refuses to take more. Let me know if this sounds okay.

Thanks.

your child needs to be fed other foods as well. it just shows that your milk is not enough to feed her.

Use a breast pump. Pump as much milk as you can, then you should have enough milk for night feedings. You can freeze breast milk and keep for 30 days. Just date the bag. To use, take out of freezer place in cup of warm water. Feed her when milk is thawed and room temperature.
