I have seen in this message board that you are the people that everyone comes with their problems.I also posted one but i didnt get any reply from anyone

I was so disappointed in trying for the child since long but with no luck

We had my husband analysis done and the doc said it was perfect.

So now we asked the doc to start our treatment and she said that i need to get my tube test done and then she can start clomid...

As our insurance doesnt cover the costs here we planned to have our tests done in India..SO iam leaving to India on june 6th and i would really appreciate replies from any of the members who had tube test done and are on clomid

How long we need to be on clomid

My hband didnt get leave and so iam going all alone and i dont know whether all the tests can be done before he can come to India .He will be joining me after two months...SO i would really appreciate if any one can just guide me as to what are the process involved in testing for infertility


Please guys even if u dont know just post some supporting words as i feel this website is soothing many people like me

Apart from HSG you may be offered to do lot of endocrinology, especially reproductive part to estimate hormones are in range and that you need not to go for any treatment to balance hormone.
you may be offered a series of ultrasound to visualize better picture of ovulation.
If your periods are erratic would be offered some pills to induce period for 3 months before trying naturally.
there is lot but without knowing what exactly is your problems which of the above will be opted for your case is difficult to nail for me.

I always tell everyone not to lose hope.As I have been thru' all this. Losing hope is as good as shooing away the good luck.
As far as tube test is concerned....do u mean a test that see if ur tubes are open? If thats the case, I have done this test.Its called Hyeterosalpingogram(HSG).A patient lies on a table under a x-ray imager. The physician will fill the uterus with a liquid containing iodine. It then enters the tubes and spills out. U can see the fluid coming out on the screen. If it comes out good. If it duznt then the tube/tubes are blocked. And if they r blocked there is a solution for it too.
I did take clomid but not right after this test. I took clomid on cycle days 3-7 before i did iui.

I'm sorry for not having replied to you earlier. Unfortunately, there isn't anything I can tell you about your treatment steps. Or what happens next. I'm pretty new to all of this myself.
I do completely understand your fears. None of it is unfounded. One always has the fear of the unknown. Perhaps, Archie or Samarch, who've been there done that would be able to guide you.
I can tell you this much for sure. Don't stress yourself out. Pray. And keep a routine of normalcy, or trust me you'll feel so insane... and that will only make things worse.
I will pray for you too. Where in India are you going? If you are going to bombay, I suggest you look up Dr. Jatin Shah, at Vinayak Nursing Home in Malad(he's supposed to be one of the best).
I'm not sure if these tests can be covered Insurance in India either.
