i need your advice on what to do with my situation.I had 2 very early m/c at day 47 & day 39 just a week after my period was due.i have 32-34 long periods.my Hcg was low & my gyn couldnt do anything.this month i just found out i'm pregnant but i had little spotting & am worried.i called my gyn & she asked me to take hcg bl test & repeat it in 48 hrs.i also asked her to check my progesterone level.i just hope that this pregnancy will proceed.is there anything else that i can test for or take any hormone shots.also my gyn said that only after 3 or more m/c they will suggest fertility specialist.i still hope that this will proceed but wanted to get your advice on what to do? also will bedrest help? i will post my hcg results as soon as i get it.awaiting your reply & hoping for the best:) archie replied. the tests mentioned are sufficient at this stage. Loss of pregnancy at early stage could be because of many reason and not necessarily a fertility issue. What would be necessary is to get levels of hCG in 48 hours (to see if they double) and also progesterone to know can support pregnancy. If progesterone is scanty you would be injected for about 4 months and get the support for your pregnancy.
spotting could be due to less progesterone or low lying placenta and both are normal in first trimester.
I hope your pregnancy goes well and let me know the updates of hCG.
If the hCG are well progressing then request to your Dr. for progesterone suppliment by injection and hopefully that will help a lot.
yes you need total bed rest.
