hi

My child is 7 months old.i tried giving him formula milk from bottle but he refuses to drink, but he likes breast feed. can you please suggest me some ways as how to make him drink from bottle.

u can start with mashed idli, moong dhal water, mashed carrot, beans, potaoes, apple juice(apples themselves might constipate, so try apple juic. dont leave the juice out for too long. it will ferment and become acidic.)
u can also give yogurt. start slowly. give a new food and wait for 3 to 4 days. watch out for any allergy, and then start the next food. good luck!:)

thank you for ur advice will try what u told me. Recently my child started puking food everyday (once in a day let it be dinner,lunch or anything) he pukes out the whole food.Why like that?

u can also try expressing ur milk in bottle and giving it to him...just 2 make him used 2 it.

i also am going thru the same thing...try giving him juice firt. or water...let him get ued 2 the nipple. slowly get him used 2 the taste of formula. make him lick it from ur finger. set a particular time everyday. never force him...it will only make him more rebellious. most of all, stay calm. if he doesnt take it for a whole week, let go..try after another week. dont try when he s too sleepy.

thank you very much for the advice. Will try what you told, infact have started giving him milk from glass and spoon , that is also working. but want to make him comfortable thru bottle also.
