You can start her on rice, idlis, cerelac(if she likes it), and fresh juices (musambi to start)/soups (tomato to start with)
1. Rice - Add 4 parts of rice, 1 part of dal, and 2 parts of finely chopped vegs like potato, carrot, beans etc. mix together, put some salt, keep in cooker with double the water you will normally keep for that amount of rice. This will make a paste kind of thing, u mix well, add a little pure ghee, and feed your daughter
2. For soup - Boil 2 cups of water, add a tomato cut into 4 pieces, and switch of the gas, Leave the tomato in for about 5 mins. Remove it, peel and grind with little salt, no water. Then strain it and extract only the puree, mix with pepper (if it suits her), and boil once, and give her warm
3. Ragi kanji - You can either buy readymade ragi powder, or make the powder yourself. For self made powder, you soak ragi for 8 hours, then drain the water, tie it in a soft cloth, and keep it overnight for it to sprout, then dry it in sun, and get it ground from any mill, or grind at home. To make the kanji, add 1 spoon to 1 glass of water, stir over medium flame, till the color of the kanji changes to dark brown, then keep the gas in sim for another 2 minutes, then add milk, sugar. You can try giving this in a cup and spoon, to train her in getting rid of the bottle.
