after taking off or starting birth control pill it's expected that hormones will be disturbed and it's also considered that one must not judge cycles for at least 3 rounds from taking off the birth control pill.

Given that I would not count three cycles following your BCP. But looks like you have irregular periods.
If in the next two cycles you have periods those are irregular and over 40 days then you may want to take help of gynecologist to regularize them first and thereafter start ttc. Mainly because it's difficult to know if you ovulate and what's the hormone situation.

If you get next two cycles as around 40 days then you don't have to approach gynecologist and start ttc.

However for next cycles I would recommend intercourse every other day from CD14 to CD28. No adventure, just simple methods and do not go to restroom for about 45 minutes after intercourse, do not change position of yours.
