Hi,
can anyone please tell me why babies have hiccup. Is it uncomfortable and harmful? what to do when my4 month daughter has hiccup?

i do not think it is harmful, its just natural.just hold the baby straight rub baby's back slowly till the food settles down and the baby should be alright..keep walking around when u do this

Hi,

My baby girl have these all the time. I am not sure what the exact reason for this but my mother is saying that its a sign of babies growing stomach.I am sure hiccups are not harmful but yes it is uncomfortable for the little one.My mother used to give her 1/2 spoons of water,you can try that.Don't worry its very normal.

there is nothing to worry... it is v.normal.... i've 20 month old baby... he had hiccups till 5 months.. so no problem..
