besides cd and dvd u can try thr follwing things.

keep talking to her speak sme words more dnt think that she will start speaking suddenly in sentences .

reapeat many words
show him pictures in books tell her names and repeat name many times
show vegetables in kitchen and tell her u r cutting potato repaet this many time etc with other veg

in bath room tell her this is shampoo ...this is soap we ascrub our body with soap like wise u make small sentences she will also try repating after u.
bottom line is wat evr u do include her and keep telling her ....

talk to him as much as u can .tell him everything wat ever u are doing try those rhyme songs vcd or dvd .just keep talking and try repeating some words more he will u have to put more and more efforts i know u must be but dont worry he will speak .my daughter also statred speaking when she was 2.5yr
