my son is 2 years odl & still has the habit of sucking his finger while sleeping

i am trying soo many to get him out of the habit but nothing is working

anybody has any suggestions...please help

Finger sucking

My son too used to suck his thumb.he is now 2 1/2 and has stopped. When he turned 2 I applied this polish called femite polish which my doctor had recommended. Its very bitter. My son on sucking vomitted once and has never sucked his thumb since... let me tell you that he was a very aggresive thumb sucker and its nothing short of a miracle that he stopped.

Soumya, there is nothing for you to worry about with your son sucking his finger. He does it because it is a comfort for him. Do not make an issue of it or try to stop him and eventually he will stop on his own. If you continue to make an issue out of it, he may develop anxiety. Hang in there and everything will be alright!
