Name: Rekha I use diapers for my daughter through out the day and night, since it is very cold over here. Plz.. let me know if it is fine for the baby. Has such my baby does not show any discomfort.

yeah...here in U.S too, babies wear diapers 24 hrs a day...one pblm u may have is diaper rashes...use vaseline/any diaper rash ointment when changing diapers...

I'm not sure where you are, but in North America, babies wear diapers 24 hours a day. There should be no problems as long as the diaper is changed frequently and at any signs of a bowel movement.

You can get either glycerin or bisacodyl suppositories in any Indian pharmacy - I recommend saving money by not buying child-size ones, instead cutting adult supps in half to make a child-size dosage.

Most doctors say banana doesn't help - the potassium in it makes constipation worse. Remember you can make your own prune puree in a blender. Grape, grapefruit and papaya are also laxative fruits. And remember you can safely use baby suppositories as often as you need to (they also help with "training" the baby to do a dirty at the same time every day)... - Su 03 [View Message]
