Hello
I have a 15 months son and he eats all mashed food. I feed him dal rice with veges all mashed in grinder. If any solid is introduced he will spit out. I am really worried about his feeding plan. He does not even tries to eat on his own.

Anyone of you please suggest how to make him eat roti or any other solids?? He eats kichdi, dal mixed with cereal, gerber fruit jar, suji ki kheer and milk 2 to 3 times and sometimes he eats yogart
Please respond me.
Thanks
Kavita

Hi kavita,

try mixing the mashed food with some liquid, i.e. some rasam, sambar, or anything liquid type , so that it dilutes, make it into a semi liquid consistency and give him. this helps. let me know if it works.

First of all stop grinding dal in the mixie, rather try this out. Cook rice ,dal mixture in a steam cooker with plenty of water, give 3 to 4 whistles, and then mash it to a smooth paste. try giving him some finger foods, and roti - make pieces and give him tiny bits, so that he will learn to chew.

Any way thanks for your kind reply. If you have more idea PLEASE share with me.
