Hi i have been trying to get pregnant since long.few months back my periods got postponed by a week. so i went to my gynac.but the preg test came negative.the periods postponment was due to imbalance of progestron.this time my periods were expected on 21-2-05.i did preg test(myself) on 26-2-05.it came negative. now its almost 10 days ahead of my regular cycle.my menstrual cycle has always been regular.is there any chance of positive detection of pregnancy??should i go to my gynac????? Its important to take it easy .. be calm and relaxed and try to find out why you are having these irregular cycles. There can be many reasons for this. The most common reason is stress.

I tell everyone the importance of knowing your cycle and having a chart. You need to do this
not only for the baby but for you. Not everyone ovulates on the 14th Day...so start charting your cycle and use a BBT, check your most wet day, use ovulation kits etc to find your ovulation day. YOUR PERIOD WILL BE 12-16 DAYS after you ovulated. 99% of times its the 14th Day after you ovulated.

If your period is more than 35 days apart (many times), you have heavy periods etc then there are chances that you have the Polycystic Ovarian Disease ( PCOD ) - Ask your doctor. Blood tests are also very useful for making the diagnosis

wait for another 4 days then test with hopt. If still negative then call Dr for an appt this may by due to hormone imbalance. Only going for pregnancy check up to the Dr if you get a positive test.
