Due Date Club January 2004:anybody giving the newborn water?

Name: Venita I would like to know how often you'll feed baby? My baby is 3 weeks old and feeds every two hours during the day (every three hours at night) and sometimes he is hungry every hour too. I have heard that one can give baby water so that he is not overfed and just wanted to check if there are anyof you doing that? If so, at what age can we start giving baby water ? How often do you give the baby water? Please share your experiences.

If you are giving breastmilk you don't need to worry about duration-baby knows best. Giving water will deprive him of the nurition but make him feel full.

Hello:
My 20 week ultrasound also showed an enlarged kidney. The good news is that since it is only one side, chances are that he will \";grow out of it\"; and if there's a problem it will resolve itself. Hey Kavita,

I'd say you get the ultrasound done so you will be able to see what is going on. Vaginal ultrasound is a good idea too.
