Dear Archie,
As suggested by my GYn i am going thru the ovulation study.
I have some queries regd the same.
1. Apart from ovulation date/day what other details does ovulation study helps determine?
Will it also tell me i am ovulating properly, no blockage in my tubes etc etc.
2. I hope i conceive when they give me the ovulation date/day. But if not then what would be next steps?
3. Is it possible to determine that the semens are moving in the tubes? I read something regd the same in one of your answers posted on this board.
I know i have asked too many questions. but please do reply.

True that you have asked many questions and one thing is clear from all is that you are stressed a lot on conception process.
Dear, more you think and stress yourself the more is difficult to get pregnant!

True that whole conceiving process revolves around ovulation as you can release egg only once per cycle whereas your spouse can deliver millions of sperm each day/each time you have intercourse. This is a solitary reason ovulation is regarded very important step while couples ttc.

1. Apart from ovulation you will not determine anything that would be my flat answer to your query 1. No it won't tell you whether or not tubes are blocked. If you study pattern of ovulation for about 3-4 cycles you can draw conclusion as to if you are ovulating regularly or not, this is possible from ovulation study.

2. There is no next step but to try for until you complete one year and fail to get pregnant. If you can't get pregnant in one year then:
HSG of yours, and ovulation study will let your Dr. decide if you need superovulation inducer treatment like Clomid.
3. No you won't know if the spersm are flowing through fallopian tube just by studying ovulation. There is no need to worry on such aspect unless you fail to get pregnant for a year.
