Feeding:nursing strike?

My daughter is 9 months old and I breastfeed her 3 to 4 times a day. For the past 3 days she has been on a strike and won't nurse if she is awake. She nurses only in the night. I don't know whether this is a self-weaning process or whether she has her stomach full due to the solids. She takes yogurt though. But I am worried whether she will get dehydrated. I have to force her to drink water or use a dropper to give water or formula. She doesn't take juice too. I mix 2 oz of formula in her cereal and that's it.
Let me know if anyone has experienced this. Is this normal for her age? Please advice.

Hi Sujatha,
Good to see you on the other thread and felt sad knowing that your daughter too started the nursing strike!. Yes, My son too did that and is still doing since he was 9 months. He basically plays during the day-time when I try to feed him. Only in the early morning and once before his bedtime (night) I feed him. The remaining times I give him bottle though. Since I started working after his birth, from the beginning I made him take the bottle with little formula or my milk. So he has been taking bottle (formula) when I stay away from him (at work) and he got used to it.

So, my suggestion, why don't you try pumping your milk and give her that using a bottle. Does she not the bottle itself? OR is she refuse to take the formula? Do something depending on her reaction.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.
