Feeding:Not drinking formula

Hi,
My son is 9 months old. He is not taking even an ounce formula. I tried different brands but no use. Is it ok if I give him whole milk? I am very confused as eveybody is saying we should not give whole milk under 1 year. Please give me some advice how to make him drink milk. Even in his sleep also he is not taking. I am worried as he will become dehydrated. i am giving him juice and water to avoid dehydration. He is just eating solids no milk at all. Thank you

I had the same problem and I give my son formula mixed in all his solids...bananas, raagi, khichdi. He likes that and it has helped his health, I feel. Hope this tip helps you.

Do you breastfeed? My daughter is 9 months old and I breastfeed her 3 to 4 times. For the past 2 days she has been on a strike and won't nurse if she is awake. She nurses only in the night. I don't know whether this is a self-weaning process or whether she has her stomach full due to the solids. She takes yogurt though. But I am worried whether she will get dehydrated. I have to force her to drink water or use a dropper to give water or formula. She doesn't take juice too. I mix 2 oz of formula in her cereal and that's it.
Let me know if anyone has experienced this. Is this normal for her age? Please advice.

Try Giving Yogurt ( home made or Yo BABY)
Once or twice a day, that is a good milk supplement. If you give him cereal mix formula in the cereal and give him.

You say ur baby eats solids, must be drinking water also. You give juices also. Then milk is not needed atall. My baby is 1 yr. old. I have not given her milk and she's perfectly healthy and very active.
