Today I visited my gyn for followup. He showed me the U/S pictures in which it showed small cysts in lt ovary. He said the follicle is not forming properly, so those are follicles. There are 3 small things in my lt ovary. He said taking BCP will help to heal out those things.
LAter he discussed about 3 options available after I stop BCP.
1) HE told me that I may be insulin non-resistant(since I'm GD in my first pregnancy and I take lyvoxyl for low thyroid daily). There will be a test to see whther I'm insulin tolerent or not.
I had glucose tolerence test done and it is good.
2) He told me that I can go for HSG test since I have history of endo.
3) I can take clomid and see if it works. He said the risks are high for twins with clomid. I already have one lovely daughter and I'm not ready to raise twins now. I can't afford for twins now.

After dicussing all these he asked whether I'm ready to go for these tests or not? since I'm only 31yrs he asked me whether I want to wait for 6more months and see. He told me to continue BCP for 2 mons and start ttc right after I stop BCP. He told me not to wait for my next period after I stop.
I asked him about my lab results and very much disappointed to know that they haven't tested my harmone levels at all(FSH,estrogen,...). They did just TSH and told me that the results are OK.
Archie, I need second opinion archie. Do you think I can wait for 6 more mons or go for HSG & insulin tolerence tests before I stop BCP. How complicated are these tests ? I really wanted a second one since my first one is already 3yrs and she is asking me for a sister to play. Archie replied. Dear Sushma,
Looks like your Dr. is doing good. As he managed to know about follicular thing you don't need to worry so much on hormonal test, he is doing good job with your case.
Tests suggested are not painful and not complicated at all. Besides you want baby then some tests have to be done especially with endo history and some cysts in ovary.

go ahead with BCP and ttc the cycle you stop BCP.
