hi all,
do u have any idea about some good creches in mumbai,specially at kandivilli side as i stay there...
i am pregnant n working and dont want to leave my job after my baby comes.
i am planning to have a full time maid as neither my parents nor in laws stay here.
what r the all possible options??
is it better to keep a maid as i dont think in india we have any creche where they take a 3 months old baby.
please give me some suggestions.

I suggest you search for creche. dotn bother hiring amaid.as u hear horror stories abt maid not feeding the child. watches TV and all that rubbish.Absentism can also interefer in ur work schedule. I know how difficult it was for me to have baby sitter at home.Day cares and creche are run by professionals who keep an sharp eye on the maids.

Hi pooja

I know of someone at work who had to leave a 3 month old baby and resume work. She came up with this solution of finding a family which she knew who were happy to take care of her and another infant of a similar age. also someone where the next door neighbour an old lady who was happy to stay at home and earn money.Basically an informal creche!

I know a lady who is ready to take a 3-month old baby.But he is at Malad.She is running a creche & presently has 3 grown up school going children in the creche plus she has kept a maid to do all the cleaning work etc.

Dear Pooja,
I know you must be very worried leving a three-month old at a creche. But, personally i think creche is a better place to keep your child than hiring a full time maid. the ladies at the creche are much more experienced, whereas a maid can't be trusted. You can definately find a good creche who will accept such a young child, only they will charge you a little more.

Anyways, think abt it and take the right decision.

i was also thinking on the same terms, but the problem is that i dont think there are creche's in india which take so young babies...
if u know any of these in mumbai near kandivilli or andheri, plz let me know.

I usually get quality time with my son on Sundays/holidays. But then as i reach home by 8 eve, I realy work hard to finish the work and food by 10 or 10:30 to make love with my son coz i love him very much after my husband.
