hi all,
i am in my 36th week.. i noticed some spotting just once.. i immediately called doc, and he said it was a bloody show, which simply means that i have already started with my first stage of labour or maybe getting prepared for it. since i have still a month to go i had a doubt whether anyone else had this spotting.. i also have abdominal pain in the nights...my US also showed that baby is perfectly fine with already 6.5 punds of weight..

do let me know if anyone had the same exp..
bye.

Hi Vandana & All,
Not to worry.....since you are almost there. By end of 36th week the baby is consider full term as the lungs are also developed at this time. Don't panic at all and take lot of rest. Are your parents with you to help you out?
My 38th week started this morning and my duedate is 3rd Dec. No spotting or contraction..but I sometimes feel pressure in my uterous and feel uneasy at night. I am still working so may be by end of the day I get tired. My mom arrived from India this Friday so now i am relieved.
Best of luck to you and let us know the GOOD NEWS.
Take Care,
Reshma.

hi vandana
i have completed 36 weeks and i too have had spotting over the past 2 days. my doc has said that i am losing my mucous plug and this is the first stage of labour.
i also have trouble walking at times due to vaginal pressure and some contractions. But if the contractions come and go, they are Braxton Hicks as you would be aware.
The real labour is not too far away and my doc thinks I could be ready to deliver any day now.
I hope this info helped. Take care and good luck.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
