I however notice so much of worries from you for nothing. Trust me there is nothing wrong with you and I think you will have no problem conceiving again.
If meeting Dr. will put your mind at ease then go ahead do that. Since you explained heavy period and clots and stuff I feel you don't need to go through any medical help. You can wait for 2 cycles and try again. You said you are eating Folic Acid and that's good.
If your cycles are regular then no help is required.
If you are looking for emotional help, I am not sure how could I offer that to you.

You are also hearing stories those make no sense, who is that friend of yours telling those lies. If you trust in your friend then sure you need to see Dr. and get him/her saying that your friend is wrong. If I say that you won't believe as I am not your Dr.
