i have 4 month old baby. i have to start working again but the problem is my baby does not stay with anybody else. my mom-in-law is not interested in taking care of him when i am there and this is making him more dependent on me. he has habit of sleeping when i breast feed and my mom-in-law did not let me start bottle for my baby which is also one of my concerns. can you give me some tips how to make my baby independent of me because i have taken 2 months more leave so that he can get adjusted in that time. i have also kept maid but she is also not able to handle him because my mom-in-law did not let me keep maid in the beginning. so i have few questions:
1. how to make my baby sleep without breast feeding
2. how to make him adjust with maid.

keeping in mind that although my MIL says she will take care of him, she gets sick for days if she holds him more than two hours. D replied. You need to start bottle feed if you want to start working. There is no way out. He may sleep with bottle feed as well. You can make your MIL understand that he will need bottle feed when you are away on work. Try this for a month. Start with little milk one time and gradually increase the content.
Make your maid help you in activities like bathing, changing his clothes, playing with him, taking him out to play. You will have to take your MIL in confidence. Convince her that it is important for you to start working. Take your husband help. Ask him to convince her.
