Working Mother:worried abt career

hi
I am new to the group.I felt that this the place where i can pour my heart.
I am an engineer with MBA .After my son' s birth I stooped working for two years as there was no one to take care of him .then I completed my full time MBA.
After that i joined my career back.
I joined a company in mumbai and left my son at my moms place in Jalgaon. My husband was out of india then so kid started getting sick many of the times and used to be very sad and lonley.I decided to quit as soon as my husband came back.
I left that jobs and joined anaother office where I was told that I will be stationed at one place and later they started to send me to places. My kid was 4 then but he could not stay for without me for long .He was very much paranoid that I might leave him for my office.
I left that job and took anather where the job was good for 6 months and suddenly the work presurres increased to such a extent that i could see my kid only at I tried but the work load never came down rather increased. One day my crech lady called me up that my kid is not well and having high fever I asked permission to go early and that day i came at 2pm form office.I was so upset that I resigned form the job.

My cv sees that i am hopper .Keep on changing jobs.
But whenver i try to balace my family along with my job it ruins my jb and career too.

Pretty depresed now.

Hi Shilpa,
first let me congratulate you since you are trying to handle so many things at one time. Dont loose hope dear, remember there are some women who are only sitting at home and taking care of the house and family here you got one more responsibility , that is your job.
I am also a working Mom and i know exactly how it feels.
But whe i get into situations like this i remember one frien who once told me \" you will get many job but you wont get many families\" please set your priorities. if i had to sit late every day and pressures at job were too much i would throw it up for my child. After all the child is more important that anything in this worl.
MAy be you can start after a few years when your chils gets indipendant and if you have some family support back at home.
dont bother about the cv at all .
i beleive all good organisations understand the issue pretty well.
Right now concentrat on your child.

I can understand your problem. You can try for comapnies which have a creche for working mothers so that you can see your child in between the work.
