Hi all,

Iam 33 mother of 2 children. I was working in a private bank when i got married soon after my 1st delivery i still worked for 2 coping up with extensive timings and a 2 yr old toddler at home, finally i had to resign as i couldnt stretch anylonger (in the mean time my mom passed away and i dint have any one reliable to take care of the kid). I took a break of 2 years and again took up my banking job for 1 1/2 years. This time my husband got transfered to a rural posting and we had to shift the family there. Last 2 years iam here in this small town and have delivered the second one who is 1 1/4 yrs old. But this life style is really killing me as 1. I cant persue a job here
2. No creche facilities and even if there is one it is only till 5 evening.
All my aspirations are going for a toss. What do
i do.

Subject:  Make your hobby as your career

Hi Vijshy,
I think you should start taking classes of your interest. Think what u had learn in school / college time, what are your hobbies and in which u r best like painting or singing or dancing. Start your own class at home. In rural area also people wants to learn something new. As you are from town people will have more confidence on you. If you want to start something then tell me, may be i can suggest you something.

I agree with you that a career gives a sense of independence and stability to a person. I understand your predicament of getting dragged along with husband' s transfer and a baby to feed. My 2 cent bit on this would be :L-

1. Get back to your town and look for a good and efficient creche.

2. Get back to your work and catch up and get involved with life.
