Name: veena I have been reading messages on this board for the past one month but signed up only today. I hope to share my feeling with you guys since I'm in the same boat as you all. We have been TTC for the past two years. I have PCOS. Was on clomid for 3 cycles. Then start the next level of injections. On the second cycle, conceived but it was ectopic. Luckily it wasn't serious and just an injection sufficient. Was hoping my third cycle will be a success but my period started today. I'm so desperate and unhappy. Now I pray it is not another ectopic. Don't know when God has something planned for us. I will be 30 in a few more months. The only people I have shared all this is my husband and parents, in-laws. First time I'm talking about this to friends.

Veena,
Dont worry once ectopic ,doesnt mean it will always be that way. That happens just by mistake where the foetus starts developing in the tube itself. But its not a pattern where the same thing keeps happening.
This time sure u will have a normal prgnancy in the uterus. and things will brighten up.
Look at the actress Kajol. she too ahd a ectopic first and now she is blessed with a baby. so will u be.

weel regarding my joining the ship. now in feb i have to undergo hysterescopy. there after one month not to have relation till the utrrus heals . so by then in march my hubby shuld come or then i might go. Lets see how it works.

U take care. keep positive. Next time hope to hear a bif fat positive on ur HPT and no worries it wont be ectopic.

Hi Veena,

That may or may not be true.....but why think about the risk factor. Exceptions are always there and miracles do happen.

so try to be positive. i know it may be difficult for u but its important atleast when ur TTC.Its good that ur occupied the whole day. Even i keep myself occupied....but still when im not doing anything or writing on this board i still end up feeling miserable.I understand u r not enthu abt anything. Thats because when one wants something so badly and dont get then mind do get upset.

U know all my friebds my husands frnd wives conceived and had babies. i always felt happy for them .,went to meet them , play with their babies and all that. But now my younger sis in law is prgnant and somehow i cuoldnt accept that. I really feel jealousy. I cant stop thinking over that itw as suppose to be my turn then what happened?

Infact for last 2 weeks i have not visited nmy inlaws. my MIL is worried why im not coming over?
But what can i do . In fact im afraid i dont knowhow i will react when the baby is born and if till then im still not conceived?
Its a very hard situation.

Dear Sonia,
Thank you for sending the positive note about Kajol. But according to the medical folks a person with one ectopic is at a higher risk of future ectopics. So I'm really scared. But since I'm working at least during weekdays my mind is a little diverted. During weekends I cannot do anything else but keep thinking about this. No enthu to clean, cook or anything. Earlier I used to buy cute baby clothes for all my cousin's kids. Now I hate going inside the store.

Sonia, wishing you all the very best for your hysterescopy to proceed smoothly and your next ICSI will definetely be a success.

Hi Sonia,

Thank you for your kind and supportive response and including me in your group. I hope this year brings all of us good news. I'm glad to have found this bulletin board and friends like you. I'm praying for all of us.

It is easy for me to tell you not to get depressed (like how others tell me) but we constantly have the same thoughts - when do we have a baby. But you need to be happy for all your hormone levels to be fine. Why don't you join your husband on the ship for a few days and think that you are just married. Try to have a good time. Then you can both come back together to start your next treatment cycle.

On my side, we took a HPT and it came out negative. It is a slightly comforting news to know it is not another ectopic.

Wishing you all the very best and I definetely think we would all be proud parents this year.
