Subject:  Best time to start weight loss regimen



Usually you have to wait for at least six weeks before you can start an exercise regimen. This is for those who have normal delivery. In case of Caesarean delivery you might require longer period. After postpartum check up you can start on with simple exercises but that too after consulting with your gynec.

i just delivered a healthy baby boy few days ago. i had put on a lot of weight during pregnancy and the baby was also very healthy so the doctor had to make a surgical incision during delivery. at present i am sore due to the stitches...i wanted to know when i can start exercises?

you are just being hyper about your weight. its just a few days since your delivery. Let your body recover from delivery stress and the wounds to get healed. gradually you will be able to lose weight by following a combination of healthy diet and exercise.
