My daughter is 3 years 1 month old. I have developed her to sit on the potty, but it seems to me that she does not understand between potty and urine. I am observing that she does not know exercising pressure in rectum, and just sits on the potty chair and starts crying after 5 - 6 minutes. After 10-15 minutes I make her wear pants and finds that she has passed potty in her panties and is not even aware of the accident. Please advise.

Hey my 3 yr old son also behaves the same way. he sit on potty for 2-3 min and starts crying ,later as soon as you put him bloomer he passes motion :( dont know what to do.pls let me know if u get some clue, thanks

Hi surma
My son is also 3 years old,he is telling urine and potty both.But the problem he is telling at home only .He is going to play school,he is not telling there bcz of fear.so do one thing first u take her to washroom according her timings and ask her many times.Like that u can follow some days,she can recognize after some time.
