Name: mm.. hi am 23 weeks pregnant..and due to some spotting my doctor adviced not to have sex but lately me and my hubby indulged in anal sex could u please advice me is it safe......or anal sex is safe in pregnancy or not..awaiting ur response

Dear mm,
Just to keep out of any infections that could be sexually transmitted and you don't like to get antibiotics while pregnant use condom while anal sex.
It's OK to have anal sex as far as pregnancy is considered.
If possible try to enjoy intimacy and something like shower together as it seems like your placenta may be low lying and you don't want jerky stuff while sex. As long as anal sex don't get you in jerks or in otherwards you both don't get too excited while anal sex, smooth and calm is OK.
