I will be joining IBM shortly. Is anyone here an IBMer? I want to know if IBM respects people' s preferences for location and give us a location of choice. Also, everyone tells me that IBM gives a lot of flexible work options. Is this true? Somebody please help me take a decision soon!!!! IBmer replied. Iam an Ibmer too. Yes IBM has all these options and lot of people have veen given these like work from home , Flexi work hours etc.

I am in IBM. I know a lady who' s expecting and from her 6' th mnth she has got work from home option. There' s another one who has got 1 yr unpaid leave after her delivery. And they didnt allow her to resign giving her the 1 yr unpaid leave option. One more frnd of mine..who is in Delhi but was posted in Poona for 2-3 mnths.But finally she was given a prjct in Delhi. As far as i know, IBM is considerate in these matters.

I am an Ex-IBmer & had to leave IBM b' coz i was blessed with a kid 4 yrs. back.Now my daughter is going to be 5 yrs old. I m planning to join back the office job (not part. IBM).Incase u r a Programmer u can think of working at home but chances are less.
