hi ALL,

i am feeling very depressed that my company has told me to stop my work until further instructions. My job was something that most of the women would want to . i was operating from home coz of my 1 yr old son. i just need to work for 4 to 5 hours. i know my company is right as from past 4 months i have not done my job properly.

My MIL never supported me to work. i had to take care of the baby all the time and it was impossible for me to work(Had to work from 2pm to 5pm) She was always busy with her own work and never bothered to care my son. i requested her to take care of him for 4 hrs daily as it is difficult to get such a job that to working from home at my lesiure.

i m feeling very depressed i dont know what to do. i dont want to send my son to day care centres so early. My MIL doesnt allow me to keep a maid at home also. she chases them off. depression is eating me up........... lost interest in everything.

I am very sorry that you lot your job. But i will really suggest you to make the mind to work or not. b' coz you has the best opportunity to work like this where you could work and take care of your child also. but sorry to say u could not manage it.Kiran please arrange your time table. as you told your work timing was 2p.m. to 5pm. you can easliy make the time table for your child and this is the peak time for small children to rest and you can also make your son to sleep this time ad work easily. any ways it' s up to you to how to manage.
Also i Would like to say dear do not accept any thing from this world, if you will think ur MIL will help u u will never get the chace to think more possibilities. Please remeber if u have to work u have to manage everthing on your own. still u can ask your husband to tell your MIL not to take out your maid, if you do not get help from him also just go ahead alone and show that u r the best.
This is the best job as you can operate from home please ask one more chance from your compay to give you if not do not worry at all. world is so big and if u have potential u will get better than this, but u can get every thing as ' kucch paane ke liye kucch khona bhi padta hai.

Mansi Saheli replied. Well, you need to be practical and choose. Job or be a housewife or woth the baby. If you want the job, get a maid or daycare whatever suits and then dont look back. If its the baby, stop being in 2 minds and thinking of what is lost.

I am a working person and I feel that job is important and a job like that is good to have. some day baby will grow up and you will have free time but you wont get this job again. Job gives you more exposure to outside world.
At the same time, there are positives for a housewife as well. And that is taking care of the baby in the way u want, teaching him things u want. For working mothers, it is limited and we have to depend on maids and schools for what the kid learns.
In today' s world, seeking the balance in afamily is much needed than 2 high-earning parents and a hotch-potch life. Home cooked food, sanskaar, culture, looking after health of hubby baby and yourself, less eating outside, less eating junk, this all is v imp.
As for your MIL, i dont think you should consider her as a help. Just forget there is someone who can help, find out your solutions on your own.

And if you dont want to lose your job, talk to your company and request them for a chance. Join office full time and prove yourself. In today' s scenarios, any org wd like to gv oppor to current employees as hiring is a long and expensive process.

Once you choose between home and office, dont think about other option and cry. Once you close that door, be confident and happy with what u hv chosen. And accor to me, both options are equally valuable. S replied. Hi

don' t worry ..u apply again and get a job again..in other company..
but for ur MIL..dont let her chase away the maid.. tell the maid that u will pay her and ask her to ignore ur MIL. u tell her that she is old and make fuss about every thing..and keep the maid happy by giving some money other than regular wage.
