I had posted my concerns on this board which are under the title :Confused... pl help archie ,NP and all dated 18th nov 2004. i was new to the board and very much in distress. i read some of ur advices to othres. but i beleive when i posted u were not available. now since u r back can u please go tru my situation and please help me.
i have also got good help and moral suppoert fron others . im very much thank fulto all of them .

If you have PCOS then getting pregnant will take a little longer than usual time. However, PCOS does not mean you are not going to get pregnant, so work on your patience and enjoy intimacy so that you will improve chances of conceiving.

About sperm count: Looks like it's 10% of the standard normal count. But a good side is that he has at least 45% motile not very small than of standard which is 50%. But given he has only 10% of the total normal this motility will be about 5% of the normal motility. I would recommend your husband to get treated to improve his sperm count. There are whole lot of things that affect sperm count and it's almost difficult as it goes case by case.
The causes are as follows:
Inherent,
Nutrition,
Work,
Life style,
Clothing.

If he has inherent then a little can be done.
If that's due to nutrition then suppliments given by Dr.will help to boost the number.

If he is working in construction or industry then likely to affect his sperm count

If he drinks or smokes, tobacco or any such habbits will affect count

If his undergarments are synthetic that will also have an impact on count.

He should eat healthy, homemade, complete grains not white bleached flour. He should wear 100% cotton textured undergarments. If he drinks or smokes should give up, if he is working along with hot devices then he has to reduce the time with such devices at least till you get pregnant.

If you trust in homeo and ayurveda then Himalaya product Speman would be of good help to him

If you live in US then go to drug stores and he can get fertility blend for male to improve sperm count.
