Dear Ladies,
I was 97 kgs before 3 months. i have tried to diet and excercise throughout my life time but nothing really worked. Then a doctor sugested Sibutrim tablets for me and i have lost nearly 13 kg till date. As per my doctor i does not have much side effects but it subpress you hunger to some extent. Not just the tablet will do the wonder, we have to do it ourselves.
Check you web for calories counter and just keep in mind the calories of your fav food. I kept in mind and planned for a perfect diet for a month. Eat atleast 1300 cal per day and excercise (do join a gym) atleast 1 hour. You will be able to do it. In case you come across parties then adjust your calories accordingly. In a week one day just enjoy eating anything you feel like and the other 6 days stay with 1200 cal. Usually my morning breakfast is 3 idly(300 cal) and tea(90 cal)/lunch 3 roti(300 cal) and dhal(100 cal)/tea 90 cal)/dinner 1 apple and 1 pear. Choose food with more water content. In between if i feel hungry i would have a salad, butter milk-2 cups or fruits. In case i go to party for lunch or dinner. Then i would go for watermelon(1 full) next day for lunch and dinner.
let me know if you all have some tips for me...
I m very lazy gril and if i can do it y not you all. try it....

HI UK,

My doc is not in fav of recommending any weight loss pills. as per her, excercise and diet is the best way. I have a low or usually a normal BP. I have taken a few last week and was feeling extremely dizzy a first few days and was sleepless during nights. I lost about 1 kg in a week. Will i continue to have sleepless nights? and feel dizzy or is it just for initial days.

HI UK,

I read that you have taken sibutrim pills and lost 13 kgs. Can you tell me the time frame in which you lost 13 kgs alongwith diet control and gyming? I am 75 kg and going to gymn since last 3 months but results are not very satisfactory...Want to reduce faster and would want to take sibutrim. Can you pls. tell me dosage and the duration we nee dto take these pills and what would actually happen when we discontinue.

I will strongly advice you not to take any medicines without consulting your doc. Actually i did it than the tablets.. if tablets are taken the weight would come back quickly. The best i would advice you is excersice. Now i was able to reduce further 3 kg just by diet and excersice. I would say try to avoid eating at night. I know its difficult but i eat the breakfast and luch well but no dinner. My last meal for the day would be biscuits and tea at 4:30pm. then only water. Actually the dinner we have stays in you belly and becomes fat when you sleep. So best is quit dinner. Few days it would be like hell but soon u will be fine. When there is an unbearable sitaution for hunger please a few peaces of cucumber. Try it

Please check with your doctor before taking any tablets. The tablets are not expensive but i think people with high blood pressure is not recommended.

It does not have any side effects till now, but for the begining 3 days i was little dizzy. Now i m ok.But the tablets will work only if you diet and excercise regularly.

Have you heard of broken wheat/wheat samolina? It is really good for dieting. You could have it like this.
1 Cup-broken wheat cook in water(1 ltr) for 10 mints with salt. You can have it like poridge with raita,papad,sambar, sabji, any thing you like as side dish. You feel full and your intake of vegetables is complete. You can make this a meal a day instead of rice. Even samolina/rava is good.Make an upma with less oil then have little, make this meal (250 calories).Idily is best as its steamed 100 calories per idly.
I will give you some dangerous foods: Pizza(cheese)-1900 cal(Have 2 pizza you increase 1 pound)
samosa-500cal
burger-890cal
parota(1)-400cal.
Pickle-more salt
potato-fried
anything fried is more than 500cal per 100grms.
There are 3 white poisons for people like us: sugar, maida floor and salt. Try to minimise the intake.
Best things are
1. Have honey & lime juice with warm water early morning and walk for atleast 20 mints.
2. Drink atleast 3 green tea a day
3. Drink 1 or 2 glass of buttermilk before meal.
4. drink 2 ltr water a day prefer warm water/avoid ice chill water.
5. use more spice in foo, pepper, chilly etc.
6. check your weight every 3 days for just encouragement.
7. sleep only 7 hours a day, avoid a nap in the afternoon after lunch.
8. Use sugar free for sugar.
9.have dinner before 6pm. after 6 only water till next day.
10.No drinks like coke, soda etc just fresh juice.
These things i follow and would appreciate you could give me some more suggestions to improve.

I was presciped sibutrim, b´ coz i wont be able to take strong tablets as i trying to get pregnant. Basically sibutrim works very late and we have to take it atleast a year to see some results. Now i quit the pills as i m feeling very dizzy with it. In my case i was more towards dieting than pills. You should take down a list of foods with calories and have awareness what you consume.
But in case your BMI is more than 35 then you could go in for Xenical(prescribed ny doctor), it blocks absorption of dietary fat into the bloodstream, thereby reducing the number of calories you get from a meal. You would see some oil coming out in your stools in the morning. fat goes out instead of absorbing in your body.
To tell you honestly pills may have long term side effects and the best way would be the ancient way excercise and diet. You could motivate yourself by watching " the biggest loser" show in hallmark channel all weekends. You would be surprices to see the end results of the participants. They do just diet and excercise. During dieting i keep my self busy so i dont get a though of food. There are times i feel let me eat and i dont care of anything, but the guiltyness after the meal is worst. Now i m 82kg and would like to make it 70kg (then i will look like a human lady). Ladies any new diet plans????

how much do these pills cost?? how much mg were u taking??
there are a lot of ayurvedic tbalets also in the market, like BIOSLIM and HIMALAYA´ s AYUR SLIM... am very tempted to try them out... do u think i should go ahead?
