Trying since long:Confused.....pleeeeeeeeease help Archie, NP and al

Dear Archie, NP and all,
hi! Im writing to you with grt hopes.
Im married for last 4 years but unable to conceive.I have changed 3 doctors, the best ones in BOmbay but unlucky so far.

The first doc diagnosed me with PCOD. and gave treatment for the same.
The second doctor ruled out PCOD after variou tests. But the sonologist said that i have a polyp, which the doctor said she is not bothered at that stage. My husbands semem analsis reveals sperm count of only 2 million with motility of 45%.he was put on various medications , but not much improvemrnt. I was also put on few medicines. But the treatments did not give any result.
Then i got myself checked by yet another sonologist who once again said the i have PCOD and there is no polyp.
Thereafter we went to Dr. Malpani who directly put me on ICSI(IVF) treatment without doing any tests at all. He relied solely on old reports of sonography. On the 10th day of the treatment he did sonography and found the polyp. To my horror the treatment was stopped abruptly saying the polyp will act like a contraceptive. I was emotionally disturbred and upset about the whole thing since i had made grt effort to make up my mind for ICSI. It was a total waste of time, money and lots of hopes due to irresponsible behavior of Dr Malpami.Im still devastated and confused about the whole episode.

Will u kindly let me know if the sperm count is reaaly too low? Can it not be increased by medicine so i can conceive naturally?
Is the mystery polyp really acting as a contraceptive? will it have to be removed?
most important is LilavtiHospital a good option for my ICSI treatment? Can i trust the IVF doctors there?
please if any other suggestion as to good doctors
witing eagerly for reply.

Hi Pari
I'm a new member of this group but i can suggest you one thing for your husband. Tell him to wear loose cloths at home, less workout ( no boxer underwear )...actually one of my friend told this.

Hello Sonia,
First of all, don't be stressed. You can trust Lilavati Hospital, they are good. & american company's also trust them.
What did your IVF report said?
Yes, the sperm count can be increased some way.
& have you tried once before any doctor's help?
& also when you go to lilavati hospital, ask them that what to do for low sperm count, & also ask to remove polyp. And ask any doubts you have in mind & stay calm & relax.
I hope this helps.
I don't know any doctor in bombay, but lilavit is good.
take care
good luck
