My baby is 56 days old. I tried introducing lactogen-step-I for him.unfortunately he vomits the entire feed in about 2 hours time. I give him 30ml- 60 ml quantity. i have also tried diluting the drink by using leser powder than suggested.

I would suggest you to give your kid Dexolac-I instead of Lactogen-I, as it is more acceptable by infants.
My daughter experienced a similar problem, but today she is happy drinking Dexolac. All the best to you too. Please consult the pediatrician, before changing the Formula feed. Swati replied. Rajitha,

If your baby has not taken to lactogen then do not try to force him to take to it. My doctor too suggested that I introduce my baby to Lactogen but she hated it and after two tries I just gave up. That just goes to show that there is no substitute for mothers milk!Pls do not try to give your baby lesser than is prescribed on the tin because that would mean giving your baby lesser nutrition which can be harmful! If you have to give him the bottle then express your milk and fill it in the bottle -But if it is possible then stick with feeding your child by yourself. The warmth of the mother and the feel of the mother cannot be replaced by anyone or anything else for a baby. Have you noticed your baby put his hand on your breast when he suckles -this is for the security and comfort that he is looking for in you.
