My daughter is 14 months old. She always like to go to strangers. whenever we go out, shopping or hospital or park or just anywhere, she goes to total strangers. After that, she would just refuse to come to us. After sometime, since the other person would want to go, if we take her forcefully, she would just cry so much with literally lots of tears in her eyes. Only if the other person takes her, she stops her crying. This is very strange for others and they gives an amusing look. It is totally embarassing for us. Recently when we travelled by train, she just jumped from one person to the other in the train and just refused to come to me or her father. I am normal to her, not that i shout at her or scold her. But this is how she behaves. When we go to any friends or relatives house, she just doesn't care for us. She never even looks at us even for hours together. She shows absolutely no attachment to us and is very happy and giggling with total strangers. I have never seen this kind of behaviour in babies. they normally go to only the familiar people like parents, grand parents etc. I am totally worried of this strange behaviour of hers. I am thinking of leaving her for an hour or two in some daycare or playhome ? Will this behaviour of hers change and is this normal ? yam replied. interesting!
