There are many reasons of the child to be under weight may due to lack of healthy food consumed by the mother at time of pregnancy and many more. neetu replied. Babies are born with low birth weight if the mothers do not take proper intake of food and medicines. all the routine checkups and proper diet should be followed in order to have a healthy and baby with proper weight. when i was born i was underweight. my mum had miscarriage before my birth, she had periods when i was in her womb, i didn't even get breast milk, there were RH inompatibility my blood grp was RH negative and my mothers was RH positive. my family members so much took care of me that now i am overweight. now when i will give birth to my babies i will take enough care about myself and my baby
