I have faced great problems in finding a good creche/daycare in mumbai for young kids. hence I have decided to start one my self. I am currently starting only a daycare and creche. I am also looking at the feasibility of providing transport if needed. Food can be supplied by you or by us as required. I am also thinking of a possibility where your maid can come and stay with the child.
I would welcome yor suggestions about:
1. preferred location
2. Timing
3. Failities expected
4. Fees expected.
If the basic premise of the venture works well, I plan on tying up with a reputed playschool like podar etc for further schooling for the children.
Please help me in making this a successful venture with your suggestions and help.
I am currently looking to start from my home in Chembur-Mithul Enclave, but am open to suggestions regarding another place where I can eventually start the playschool.

Priya Aditi replied. Ensure you hire clean maids/support staff. Get their background checks done through a private detective agency. Once the gates/security grills are closed after admitting all kids inside, ensure they remain locked to prevent trespassers/kids from straying. A security grill is preferable.

Also speak to a Paediatrician/General Physian' s about availing their services in case of emergency.

I saw your message today and want to know if you have taken this any further. I'm a working mom, staying at Chembur Naka, and have to depend on my mom and maid to take care of my 10 month baby. I would like to know more about your creche and would be happy if you could allow the maid to be with the baby.
As for suggestions, the creche should be prefbly near to your house. Should be spacious and clean.Timing- from 8 to 8, 6days week.Should have limitd number of children,prefrble of the same age group (as varied age group could have adverse effect).Good supervision. Fees depending on the facilities given.
