I want to use sauna belt to reduce weight.. it is good to use plz suggest me

Neenu, no one said life is a piece of cake. So, even i' m human and bound to err and fall back every once in a while. But i don' t look at my fallback' s as failure but try to get back on track b' cos i know what i want in the long run. My health b' cos like i said, when i' m healthy then i can keep my family healthy and happy.

alright, now you want to know how i did it, then you' ll have to work a little hard and read back all my posts starting about 8 or 9 months ago. Trust me they are not all that many and i' m sure you' ll get sound advice from them.

Most women who start on the path to lose weight have very unrealistic expectations like losing 10 inches in waist size. God!! i can' t tell you how much stress you are putting on yourself with that. When i started off i was fitting into size 16 clothing and i never bothered measuring my waist. All i targetted was to become healthy and fit. Weight loss really was secondary. I kept working hard at the gym to build my strength so i could keep up with my two kids and family at home. As the strength kept coming back, the weight kept going down on its own. The first time i checked my weight after starting to workout was after 9 months. And now i weigh myself every 3 months. For every pound i put on i don' t panic or stress myself out. All i' m saying is, don' t expect miracles when you begin, but keep at it for atleast 2 yrs. If you don' t see any improvement in yourself in about 3 to 6 months then you must be doing something wrong. Come back here and we' ll talk.

for all those slackers who are looking to lose a quick pound or two, here' s another great idea...donating a pint of blood will make you lose 3500 calories meaning you lose a lb or weight. All you have to do is lie on your back and have needle inserted into your arm for about 10 mints. It' s that easy to lose a lb of weight. You could do this as often as every 3 months. Do a good deed and also lose weight in the act. Two birds in one shot.

Neenu, using a sauna belt or sitting inside a sauna for a hour everyday is not going to help you lose weight. When you prespire enough then all you are really doing is losing water from your body and hence in the process becoming dehydrated. So, what happens say when you lose a lb of sweat from your body in an hour. You check your weight and Voila!! you' ll be a lb lighter than before you entered the sauna. Wish losing weight could be really all that easier. So, think logically...what do you do when you are thirsty?....you guessed it right, you drink water until your thirst is quenched. Meaning, if you lost a lb of water by sweating it so hard sitting in the sauna, then you are going to replenish that water in your body by drinking the same amount sometime within the hour b' cos otherwise you' ll start to feel faint and dizzy.

Alright, for all of those who now understand the concept of water, sauna and sauna belts etc.. what does it take to lose weight?

Losing weight means to burn fat and build muscle.

How do you go about doing that?

First, get up from that couch and do anything but sit all day long. Maintain a proper diet rich in fiber, protein and complex carbohydrates. And third, if you are really serious about losing weight then stop looking for shortcuts because there are none available. Stop looking for reasons as to why you cannot go for a walk, run or to the gym citing silly reasons as a child, ceasarean section etc.. I' ve had two and my waist is 26(size 4). If you are fit then your entire family will benefit from it b' cos then you' ll feel good about yourself and will have more energy to spare for your family. Think about it.

Hi Sandhya,

Thanx a lot... as some one wrote earlier you are a motivation to people like us.. with facts and explanations... i have started to do yoga.. as i dont get time for walking or gym.. can you tell me how you maintain your waist at 26 as i myself is 36... am so disturbed by this.... also i have started lukg after my diet...
