Body and Fitness:want to lose weight

Hi guys. I am 15 years old and my legs and thighs are really fat. What can I do now to slim them down. I also want to lose weight overall. but mostly in the lower body. I would like some expert advise regarding what I should avoid (food). And how much exercise should I do? And how long does it generally take to shed like 10 pounds? please reply soon, Sandya or someone else.

You are really young, so that means nature and matabolism are on your side to help you achieve your goals. Good thing, you want to get started on this early. To lose weight in the lower part of your body, there are some very simple exercises that could help you.

Buy a jump rope from the nearest dollar store(usually a dollar) and start jumping. This builds your thighs and calf muscles. Start cycling for 20 mints a day. To and from school. Don' t take a ride from your mom if you want to go to your friends place. Instead take your bike. Help your mom with the chores around the house, like cleaning with a vaccum cleaner, mopping(great for your butts and lower body), dusting(bending, pulling, reaching). Basically, employ your body to work hard physically while at home. Look for work and get the rewards by losing weight. Take stairs wherever you go. If you have stairs at home, then climb them up and down for 1/2 hour.

To do all of the above, you don' t need to leave your home. Remember where there is a will, there is a WAY. Look for all the ways to accomplish your goals around you and help yourself. Good luck.

T ry aqua aerobics classes it really works.
find out with your local gym/club if they have the facility.
also massage your thighs & the area you need to toned down for 5 min. before bath. it will show slow result but it works.
