Hi All,

Can any of you please help me and my sis in getting potty training done?
I have a 2yr 10 mo.s old son and he understands things pretty much and also speaks too. He goes to a montessori here in the US. At school he does not wear a diaper except for naptime and his teachers say he does good there and he pees in the bathroom. At home if I don' t put his diaper on, it is always a accident with both pee and poop. I tried to explain him but he does not focus and listen. At school they specifially say to send without diaper so I do and there have not been many accidents at school. I wonder if it has to do with the kind of potty they have at school. It is a short one in height and size, specifically for kids so they can do by themselves. I have bought the fisther price one at home but he does not do there or in the adults one where I tried to put a potty seat with Dora on top. Some occassions he does accident and says he did, sometimes he just keeps playing without any notice. It is challenging for me with this trend at home vs. school and I need some help on what I can do at home. Is there any kind of potty training chairs that I can buy that look like the ones in school? Please help. Btw, I tried to give him bribes like cars which he likes but not much help. He just wants the car and is not focussed on anything else.

My next qn.is about my sister' s daughter who is the same age as my son, just two months close to being 3 years. She is a smart girl and understands pretty much and talks lot too. She was trained at 2 yr 3 months and was very fast in learing for pee. She is perfectly trained for peeing except naptime. But for poop she is very particular that she wants to do only in diaper. She waits however long it is until we put the diaper on. At school she goes without a diaper , so she rarely does poop at school. After coming home she asks for diaper and then does poop. Note that she does not do accidents , she can hold it and keep asking for diaper even if we say no she cries but does not do in potty. We tried to bribe her but she is very stubborn when it comes to this. I was just scared not to let her get constipated, since she does not poop at school, so told my sister to continue with diaper when she asks. But this is challenge too and would need help to know if any of you had facced this before and how to solve it.
