as for me, am in california, US. we r planning for india trip during nov and dec. i have 10 month old baby boy, Abhishek. would like to know more abt u all.

Nice to c ur response. also so far i havent come across tamil speaking ppl in India parenting. so happy to meet u all. sorry that i didnt loggon to india parenting for the past 2 days.

As far as Abhi is concerned, he rolled over by 5 months, then started creeping, standing, walking and onlyafter that he crawled. now he stands withtout support for a long time and do take few steps without support.

his bdate is 17th Dec. do shar ur kid's bdate too.

hi gals,

this is mathura, from chennai too. great to hear from tamil speaking moms. my son, sashank is also 10 mth old and same like jayashree i am also travelling to chennai by nov and dec. i stay at singapore.
sai, usually babies start with creeping by 5 mth old and then proceed to crawling. infact sashank started crawling properly after he started walking holding on the walls.
now, he roams around the house by walking and crawling.
jayashree, it would be great if you share your travel plans with me.

Great to know another tamil speaking person in our forum. I am in MI. I have a 5 month old baby boy. My baby is rolling over but yet to start creeping. Here in all sites and baby books and other sources about milestones, i found only crawling so i got curious bcos back home normally babies \";neenthify\"; before \";crawling\";. My baby is rolling over but yet to creep or crawl. so when do they creep or crawl generally? keep in touch. what s ur baby's name?

Hello,

Nice to hear from all of you. My daughter is 7 months old and her name is Arati. I come from Madurai and currently staying in Germany. My daughter rolled over when she was 5 months old. She did not "neenthify" much but went on to crawl when she was just over 6 months old. I guess every child is different!! Some don't crawl much I heard.
