Hi Raj,

Here is the details :

1.Age and weight : Age 24 weight : 54kg

2.Your prepregnancy weight(around your marriage time) : 53kg

3.YOur menstrual history(brieflly)normal/any issues anytime : My Period length is 28 days and never had problem with it .

4.veg/non veg. : Non-vegetarian

5.It' ll also help if you give brief typical day scene that is your usual daily routine so I can tailor recommendations according to that:

Im a stay at home mom , i dnt have much work at home , ussually i cook breakfast for my husband (will finish at 7am ) then after that i dnt have anywork , will play with my son (18months old) , most of the time i will be sitting in one place , surf internet or watch movie then will prepare dinner around 6pm , that' s my daily routine .

6.Any history of diabetes,blood pressure,cancer,epilepsy(any other medical condition you may want me to know) in the family.: NO

7.Do you smoke or drink alcohol?If so frequency.:
NO

8.Any food cravings/preferences/strong dislike to any type of food : NO

Raj currently im taking prenatal tablets , do i need to take folic acid also . Pls advice me .

I' m ahppy you are taking yourself seriously now.
Since your kid is 18 monthsnow,do you bth think you can wait for 6-12 months to try for 2nd?It would be good for all.
Do you need to wear swimsuits often,else I would think that the loose thighs adn cellulite is not as worrisome and life threatening as we sometimes tend to imagine.There are quite a few cellulite creams available in the market though I dont vouch for any of them.If you are still worried about them,can you go to a good gym inyour locality and learn toning exercise?
We need 3 pronged approach.
1.Get more physical activity-playing in park with kid daily,walk to and fro from park daily.or leave kid w hubby,go for brisk walk daily atleast 1/2 hour.or do you have treadmill etc at home?use it diligently for 15-20 minutes for walking/jogging and then do ab crunches and thigh toning exercises.or do swimming,climing stairs 20 minutes daily.Put on some music casette/rhymes,dance like craxy with your kid every day or twice everyday,super fun way of bonding.
2.You food-you need toeat intelligently so that you are fit and healthy and not fat anytime.
breakfast-1 slice toast,1 fruit,icup skim milk,no sugar needed.Egg white omelette is ok 3-4 times a week.
1 small bowl upma/poha,papaya,small banana,small cup curd/dhutney.
2 medium idli/dosa w chutney,any fruit,milk/buttermilk.
Mid morning-buttermilk/tender coconut water/lime juice w not more than 1 tsp sugaar/barley water(flushes out wastes well)soup if you like,all upto150 ml.
lunch-ismall bowl rice/2 small rotis(size fo yur open hand),sprouts salad/veg salad-1medium bowl,cooked dal-1/2 cup/panneer/fish curry,cooked veg-1 big bowl.
evening-tea/coffe without sugar
dinner-can be same as lunch.
General rules-avoid deep fried foods,too much salt(increases water retention in the body),heavy gravies,red meats,egg yolk,too many sweets or sugar added to any food.
Add sprouts,lemon jiuce/amla/guava(all rich in vitamin C and needed for iron absorption)to your food any one each day.
Use whole grains/whole wheat atta,mixed flours of atta,jowar,bajra,maize for making rotis.
eat green leafy veggies atleast 3 times a week.
Eat 3 good sized and 2 small meals in a day,that way you keep your metabolism revved up through the day.
Eat yur last meal 2 hours before bedtime.
drink water ,better warm water,throught eh day.
3.your life-join hobby class,take up new interest,visit old age home/orphanage/blind school,volunteer your time for some social cause,this help us put our own problems in perspective,realise our good fortune and increases our appreciation of life.
Hobbies,new skills classes all challenge our brains,give us excitement,anticipation and eagerness in life.
Be more active inside your house too,turn out cupboards,give away old unused things,clean and dust furniture,you can do all this with your child and he will like the fun too.
i hope you feed yur baby regularly and he is growing normally.
if you are taking prenatal tablets on doc' s prescription,then that is enough.YOu dont need addl folic acid.
Please go thru all this carefully and tell me if yu need any specific guidance.We will need to revisit your diet plans once you have conceived,these ideas are only for prenatal time frame.

Hi,

Thank you so much for the diet plan and advice . Since i dont drive in US , i cant go out , but i do have a treadmill at home . I dont think that we can wait for another 6 months to try a second baby , we already have lots of pressure from family[.

Actually i dnt wear swimsuit , i feel that the thighs are bigger than the upper body , that´ s why want to make it firm and ((im eating sandwich and coffee for 6 days and on 7th day i will eat good food like biryani or any other heavy stuff , i can see my body expecially the thighs become more flabby and it will takes almost 3to 4 days to become normal and i will gain 1 or 2 kgs and it will take 5 to 9 days to see the old weight , why is it so ? Can u pls explain about this .
