Name: Tushar My son is 7 yrs.An year back my S.I.Law caught two elder kids in the extended jt.family abusing him.We counceled him & the issue was resolved.Recently I observed that he is trying to touch my private parts & also geting attracted towards pictures of mascular men,now his hearos are salman & John abraham.I told him firmly not to touch the private parts but I am worried how to make sure that his sexual life is normal.

Some Advice

The same thing happened to my brother when he was young. Fortunately now he is 18 and though he is still not comfortable dating or talking about sex, he is definitely not gay. He used to be interested in my pictures of boys (i'm a girl) but he grew out of it. Try reading him classic stores like cinderella & sleeping beauty or whatever stories you grew up with about love between man & woman appropriate for a child. Let him play with girls his age & get him interested in boy stuff like science and cars & legos & the outdoors. There are worse things than being gay, but the best thing you can do is make him feel comfortable and loved & normal. He will grow into his normal self with time & normal care & treatment. Don't make him feel like he's weird or abnormal. Just let him know that he is a good person and that when he grows up he'll have a happy life no matter what.
