Problems in School:CBSE schools for 3 yaer old in Bangalore

We' ll be moving into Bangalore from Delhi by Aug end. Here in Delhi Nursery admission is a BIG TASK, big enough to merit national coverage for theplight metted out to hapless 3 year olds & their miserable parents. I' m praying the situation be better in Bangalore.

My daughter turns 3 this December. Can experienced parents please guide me on the admission procedure. Also a listing of good schools CBSE would be very helpful for us to decide where we' ll putup finally. From whatever I could gather from the internet, I' ve listed out National Public school, Vidya Niketan Public School & DPS

At the moment we are planning on shifting to Electronic city, near my hubby' s workplace. But after googling the place I found only Treamis School in the vicinity & that too is an IB school :(. I' m petrefied. SOS

Kamal,

If you are still in Electronics City, try Treamis World School. They had IGCSE affiliation, but they just announced that they got CBSE affiliation. They have a lot of extra curricular activities. My children go to Treamis and they are happy and I am happy.

Hi Kamal,

You may want to think twice about staying in electronic city. Reason being - it is a newly developign area and hence not many \" established\" schools are available.

I would highly recommend that you stay in south bangalore (koramangala/hsr layout etc.) since you have some choice of decent schools.

given that it will be in soutch bangalore you can rule out vidya niketan. the other choices you may consider are DPS and Kumaran' s.

Good luck.

Thanks
Rajeshwari.

in bangalore, i think first u need to look into ur purse before u look for a school... there are the so called high fi schools thts would charge u arond 40-50 per yr as fees... and the international schools tht rages from 1 to 2 L an yr.... and there are \" buget\" schools... around 15-20 per year... what sort are u looking for? can u b a lil more specific?

I´ m on the lookout for a good CBSE school which helps both the child to excel academically & has scope for extra curricular activities (though not toooo much of that). This rules out IB schools which I´ m led to believe are almost all into ICSE/IB syllabus. Overall I´ m looking for aschool thats value for money, delivers worth the fee demanded.
