Hi friends,
I'm expecting second baby and having tough time with my 3.5yr old daughter. She is so attached to me and never goes to her father for feeding/sleeping/bath. She is very stubborn and whatever she wants she want us to give it to her. Otherwise she would throw on the floor and cry there aloud for more than an hour. we simply ignore her but she wouldn't stop crying even after an hour. I couldn't see her like that for solid one hour and after an hour I go to her and pick her then only she stops crying. She cries even for small things like for a pink dress/pink hair band etc... She alwys wants to have all in pink color not anything else. Its getting hard for me to manage her since I'm pregnant and also working. She don't take a nap but before she was used to sleep by 8pm but now days she is not sleeping by 8 but only after 9.30pm. Anyway I have to laydown by her and tell her stories and pat her for an hour then only she sleeps. Now-a-days I'm tired of doing that and my time is blocked with this. Till 3mons before she used to sleep in 10-15mins because she doesn't take a nap. She doesn't take a nap now also but taking more time to sleep. I can't understand this change. She is a very obedient kid in the Daycare but she will not at all listen to us at home. We try to divert her when asks something before she cries but she is very stubborn and we couldn't divert her.
Can anyone give me tips to make my life easy ??

i dont know whether this helps but just a solution from my side. my daughter is also 3.5 yrs and also 4months old son. i am not working like u but faced problems similar to yours. i used start telling her stories like there's a good girl named sarmista(my daughter ) and some bla bla who is bad and does all bad things(the donots of my daughter that she did in the day time) but sarmista is agood girl, never does like that, adorable by every one bla .......
she never irritates her mama papa.........this used to continue...ofcourse this may work maynot...sometimes i used to explain her mama's situation. mama's carrying, doctor uncle has asked mama to take rest, or he's not going to send me back from hospital, mama wont be with you if doctor aunty keeps mama with her ......i feel kids do understand if we explain the situation rather shouting at them or ignoring them. better try giving examples of yours or her papa's when u were young how helpfull you are to ur mama....i hope this may help u rk replied. I also have 3.5ys old daughter and facing the same thing.I think it is a phase problem like around 3 or more upto five yrs they do like that.My daughter is also behave properly in the preschool and don't get any complain from school but at home she cries for everything.Nowadays she has started screeming and showing her angerness even she also fall down on the floor and cry.I don't know what to do but after seeing ur message i feel it is a age related problem.
Now my daughter also skip her nap and she will go to her bed when we go around 9:30 or 10o'clock,really very hard time with preschoolar.Specially girls are very attach to parents since childhood.
try to invole her in some activity and take her some other places so she can play there or she will be busy in some activity. Mom replied. I am also going thru the same problem but its still in the initial stages.
My son is 2yr old and is becoming more and more stubborn. If i dont give him what he asks for he starts crying in a loud voice ... Even I ignore him but as of now he stops crying in 10 mins.
I am very worried and planning to send him to a playhome so he gets disciplined.

Also one more which I find strange in him ... He never plays alone...He always wants us to play with him
He asks us to sit on his cycle while he pushes it ...or any other game he wants one more person to play with him ...
But I see my neighbours kids playing all alone with their toys ...
