Hi Archie & all my freinds, I donno whom to contact here i saw everyone saying hi archie, so thought Archie is the main person here, and so i thought of asking my doubts from Archie. Archie I am Nazy from Kuwait, I am staying with my husband. Well lemme start my story, I got married 6 1/2 years back soon after my marriage i was conceiving when i was india then when i came here the same day i got heavy bleeding and i had to undergo an abortion. After that i was planning for 4 years after that i was trying to conceive for 6 months without any treatment with no success. Then i went to doctor for treatment i did all blood test and semen anlysis everything was normal only my prolactin was high so she prescribed me dostinex. Then from the second day of my cycle she prescribed me clomid for 3 months by which i was ovulating and i was told to have sex for 5 days which i did but no success. Then she increased the dose again for 3 months with that also i was ovulating again and .... but unfortunately no success. Then i was told to do hestroscopy and laproscopy which i did and was everything cleared. After that i went to another doctor and she prescribed me to take the dose of menogon for 14 days which i did and i was ovulating with that and my follicle was growing as it should be grown and on 14th it got matured and i was told to have sex i did but unfortunately in that month also no success. Then again... i was on menogon, from 2nd day of my period the follicle was growing and everything was okay but again no success in that month also then the third month that is just last month (May) i was given 2 choice IVF & IUI as i IVF was too expensive i couldnot effort so i selected IUI but yesterday i got my periods. I am so tired of trying trying & trying. So now i thought of stopping the treatment. I want to know if its okay or i should keep on going. If yes why am i not getting pregnant? Is there any reason Archie? I read on net that after abortion the uterus gets cut off and all that stuff and t can be treated by one stitch for uterus, is it true? Can this be my reason? Can any one else can tell me what is my problem for not conceiving? I am getting old day by day i have reached to my 29th age when will i conceive can anyone tell me. I have lost the hope my freinds. I read your story ,i want to ask a question . When u had gone through IVF ,how old were u that time? because i am now 34 years old and my cycle was canceled because my body prodused only 4 follicle .Please let me know i am so worried? suma replied. HI!
i was also sailing in the same boat as u . i had a very very very irregular periods & i never ovulated Dr said that it is hard for me to conceive.i was really depressed.then my Dr put me on Clomid i took it for 2mths i did not Ovu... but we had intercourse every alternate day both the mths & i did not get my periods in the third mth when tested it was +ve & i'm 3mths pregnant now.so forget abt ur OVU.. ur other tablets just take it be happy have intercourse every alternate day.everything will be alright. I have to tell you that take seriously advise of \";Wannabeparents\";, she is speaking experience and that should make it easy to feel that 'easier when said than done'.

I don't think you have serious complication and you should be worried about.

I think you both are going through lot of stress and although his sperm count was normal at the testing time, while under stress it's not going to be the same case. So keep him far from stress and stay yourself also far from the same.

Clomid or Menogon you took are ovulation iducers and helpful while your Prolactin levels are high. But not to forget each time there is only 20% chance for a healthy couple to conceive. Given prolactin levels probabilites may reduce a little than normal.

About Abortion, you have some myth. Every case is different. Uterus won't get cut in every case and if that was the case you would have ended up in whole lot of trouble for last 5 years. So stay calm on that aspect as well.
What's medically known is series of abortion could be due to imperfect cervix in which case your Dr. may monitor cervix after successive 3 miscarriages and will stitch if required. Nothing mentioned about Uterus.

You conceived last time when you are about 24, fertility was at it's peak. From last 20s it goes down and thus couple would need more time to try.

If possible use Ovulation Prediction Kits (OPK) and stay abstained from sex until you find your fertile days with OPK results.

I don't think I will be of any help to you. Just thought I will add my 2 cents of words, that will be consoling. I don't have answer for whatever u have asked. All I can say is just relax. Don't think about the baby from now on. Allow God to decide when to give. HE is the best judge. HE only knows when to bless. I know this waiting is killing. Myself and my hubby r trying for almost a year with no luck. Last month I had my HSG done. Everything is fine. My hubby is going for his tests tomorrow. Hope everything is fine.
I just want to tell u something, leave all this anxiety and tension from this month. That is not going to help in anyways, rather it will delay the process. I 've experienced that in the month of april. Archie knows that, I was feeling stressed out. My ovulation was delayed by a week. Last month, I tried to keep myself relaxed and I ovulated perfect but unfortunately I got my periods. I've made up my mind not to worry about anything and left everything to GOD. Archie had told that the chances of getting pregnant for healthy couples each month is just 20%. For some it is so easy that they conceive on their first month. For some like us it is not that easy. whatever it is we r thinking to have fun in this process, rather than getting stressed out. Hope this helps.
